這是個資訊爆炸的時代，科技與社會的加速度讓我們都迷失了方向，我們熟悉的標準時間框架大幅失去效力，每個人的時間感都逐漸變得混亂。生活的節奏被壓縮，所以我們被迫追逐、爭取時間，並落入一日復一日的迴圈。時間意識與自我的存在相互分離，存在感因而變得模糊，彷彿在世界中漂流，無法穩定下來。時間感碰撞、流竄於其他感知之間，在虛實訊息、事件堆疊擠壓中，意識似乎也容易被不同的媒介掌控著，那麼，自我的時間意識是否還掌控在我們自己的手中？
◙ Exhibition Introduction◙
This is an era of information explosion. The accelerating technology and society have made us astray. The standardized time frame that we were once familiar with has greatly lost its effectiveness, and people’s sense of time has gradually fallen into disorder. The pace of life is compressed, and we are forced to keep up, fighting against time, and trapped in a day-to-day loop. The awareness of time and the sense of the existence of oneself are disconnected, and the sense of existence becomes dissociated, as if one is drifting in the world, unable to settle down. The sense of time collides with and influxes into other senses. With the virtual/fictitious and real/actual information and events in life stacking and compressing, consciousness is seemingly under the control of various media. That being the case, is the self-consciousness of time still in our own hands?
◙ 關於藝術家◙
李宛諭，畢業於工業設計系，後發現對於新媒體領域創作的興趣，轉而進入實踐大學媒體傳達研究所，目前仍就讀中。涉於設計與音樂，居住、創作於台北。
◙About the Artist◙
LI Wan-Yu graduated from the Department of Industrial Design. After discovering her interest in the field of new media creation, she then began her Master’s degree in the College of Design, Shih Chien University, where she is still studying. She is now based in Taipei and focused on design and music-making.
